Eco-Friendly Restaurants

A quick guide to local restaurants that are eco-conscious in one or more ways. Some restaurants listed are completely vegetarian and/or vegan, while other restaurants are focused on sustainable farming and fishing or even the building itself has parts made from renewable and enrgy efficient materials. Eco-Point: Most drinks are organic, fair trade and low calorie. Fruit smoothies are made with all fruit, no corn syrup! M Street Coffee is committed to serving natural products, staying away from food colorings, preservatives, refined sugars and corn syrup. They even serve their delicious drinks in biodegradable ecotainers. Organic milk, rice milk and soy milk alternatives.

Type: Ranges from Raw Vegan Tapas to rich Duck Breast - A little something for everyone.
Eco-Point: Most foods and grains are organically grown or purchased from local farms. Natural meats with no antibiotics or force fed hormones, only naturally raised and range fed chicken. Fresh fish and minimal dairy products are used, while staying away from food coloring, preservatives, refined sugar and bleached flour. They even serve non-alcoholic wine.

Eco-Point: There are plenty of food options for vegetarians. They do offer chicken, turkey, and tuna, which they are more than willing to substitute to your preference.
